Country music icons Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis will bring their Grits and Glamour Tour to Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo during the 5th Annual Outer Banks Bluegrass Festival on Friday, September 25, 2015!
OBXentertainment.com got the exclusive announcement directly from Outer Banks Bluegrass Festival promoter Cory Hemilright that Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis be live in concert together at the 2015 festival.
Lorrie Morgan charted her first single in 1978 and broke into the top of the U.S. country charts with her1989 single, “Trainwreck of Emotion.” Since then, she has charted more than 25 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts, with three number one hits, including “Five Minutes”, “What Part of No”, and “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength.” She has recorded more than 15 studio albums and sold over 6 million records.
Grammy winner Pam Tillis was originally a demo singer in Nashville, Tennessee, until she was signed to Warner Bros. Records in 1981, where she released nine singles and the album, Above and Beyond the Doll of Cutey. By 1991, she had signed to Arista Nashville, entering the Top 40 on Hot Country Songs for the first time with “Don’t Tell Me What to Do”.
